NEW LOTUS TWIN CAM COMPETITION HEAD -
New Lotus cylinder heads from high quality castings in LM25TF alloy.

Heads are fully finished ported with very accurate CNC machining on the inlet and exhaust ports. 
Combustion chambers are also CNC machined to give identical cc capacity across all chambers.
Final finish of the ports is by hand to obtain the best surfaces for gas flow. 
Supplied fully assembled with our high quality parts, cams installed and clearances set.  This is a complete assembly ready to bolt on.
The head responds well to cam changes and can be set up for good torque rally style power or top end formula car power.  Each head is finished to customer requirements and car application.
Please see dyno sheets below, this shows the flexibility of the head prepared with different cam/carb set- ups.  From 1600cc to 2000cc
Now to the details-
Heads can be supplied to the full early original Lotus thickness which produces a chamber capacity of 41cc, ideal for a big capacity twin cam or low compression motor if race fuel is not an option.  Machined down to the original Lotus Sprint BV head thickness produces a 37cc chamber ideal for a 1600cc capacity engine.
Valves are one piece stainless steel forgings black nitride coated for durability-
 1.625”dia inlet with 1.400” dia exh  running in Calispro bronze guides.
Titanium spring retainers.  Silicon chrome valve springs. Lightweight EN40 nitrided cam followers.
New cam blanks profiled for race or rally, full set of inlet/exh studs. Cams installed and lash set.

Front cover assembly for Lotus L block.  
Complete assembly machined from new castings.  Water pump is held in an alloy billet carrier.
The carrier can be removed with three screws and 
rebuild without the need of front cover removal.

OIL PAN STUD AND BOLT KIT
Most of those weepy oil pan leaks come from the corners of the pan gaskets often due to the gasket being pushed out when the sump is pressed into place. By installing studs into the end holes, the pan gasket is anchored in place preventing it squirming out before you can install a bolt to hold it.
